Biography —
Dr. Qian has been with the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry since 2011. Just prior to arriving at KU, he was a postdoctoral research at the University of Washington in their Bioengineering program. Dr. Qian received his Ph.D. in polymer chemistry from the Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. His bachelor's degree is in applied chemistry from Beijing Normal University.
