Dr. Chen was a post doctoral research fellow in Dr. Spencer's lab in 2010-11. His doctorate is in polymer science. Currently, Dr. Chen is an Associate Professor at Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry.
Dr. Dixit's Ph.D. is in Polymer Chemistry.
Dr. Eslick was a post doctoral researcher in Dr. Spencer's lab. His doctorate is in Chemical Engineering.
Dr. Kaviratna served as a postdoctoral researcher in Dr. Dhar's lab from October 2012 until April 2014. Currently, he is a postdoctoral researcher at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Pharmacy. Dr. Kaviratna obtained his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology in Biosciences and Bioengineering.
Dr. Krause was a postdoctoral researcher in Dr. Laurence's lab from 2011 to 2013, holding a patent from this research. Her doctorate is in chemistry from the University of Kansas. While a student at KU, she was awarded a Madison and Lila Self Graduate Fellowship. Dr. Krause earned both her B.S. and M.S. in chemistry from Missouri State University. Currently, she is a Research Investigator II for Bristol-Myers Squibb, a global biopharmaceutical company.
While working towards his doctorate in Civil Engineering, Dr. Marangos assisted Dr. Spencer as a graduate research assistant. Upon his graduation, he became a postdoctoral researcher with the BERC.
Dr. Mu earned his Ph.D. in nanomedicine & nanotoxicity from Shandong University in 2010. Since obtaining his doctorate, he has worked as a postdoctoral researcher for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the University of Kansas for Dr. Laurence's lab, and the University of Washington's Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
Dr. Park was a post-doctoral researcher in Dr. Spencer's research group from 2007 to 2009. He was then promoted to Assistant Research Professor in KU's School of Engineering. Currently, Dr. Park is a Staff Scientist for Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Inc. His doctorate is in polymer chemistry from Pusan National University in South Korea.
Dr. Soroushian served as a postdoctoral research fellow in Dr. Yang's lab during the 2010-2011 academic year. Prior to joining Dr. Yang's research team, Dr. Soroushian was a postdoctoral researcher at Ryerson University. His research interest include: biophotonics, applied optics, and lasers and ultrafast spectroscopy. He obtained his doctorate from Universite Paris Sud (Paris XI) in Physical Chemistry.
Dr. Zhao was a post doctoral research fellow in Dr. Spencer's lab from September to December 2008. Dr. Zhao's doctorate is in pharmaceutical chemistry.
